Getting from the Airport to Tallinn University

By Bus

  • Routes: From the stop just outside the Arrivals Hall (northern exit), you can take Bus No. 2 or Bus No. 15.
  • Tickets:
    • A single ticket (€2) can be purchased directly on the bus using a contactless bank card, but only at the first validator, located next to the driver.
    • Alternatively, you can buy the Ühiskaart (green travel card) from the R-kiosk inside the airport. Money can be loaded onto the card at the R-kiosk or online. When boarding, simply validate your journey by tapping the card on any validator inside the bus.
  • Travel time: About 20–25 minutes.
    • Bus No. 2: Get off at Keskturg and walk approx. 13 minutes to the university.
    • Bus No. 15: Get off at Tornimäe and walk approx. 8 minutes.

By Taxi (Bolt / Uber)

  • Time: Approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic.
  • Cost: Around €8–16.
  • Payment: Bolt and Uber rides can be paid via the app; some taxis may also accept cash.

Tip for Visitors: If you plan to explore the city, consider the Tallinn Card (available for 1, 2, or 3 days). It includes unlimited public transport (buses, trams, trolleybuses) and free entry to many museums and attractions. Cards can be purchased at the airport or online.
